ā˜€ļø Light

Suitable for:

• Indoor Low Light

• Indoor Bright Indirect

• Outdoor Shade

Avoid direct afternoon sun, which can cause leaf fading or burn.

🌔 Temperature

Ideal range: 65–90°F

Protect from extreme heat combined with direct afternoon sun.

Avoid prolonged exposure below 55°F.

If temperatures drop below 50°F, bring indoors to prevent cold stress.

šŸ’¦ Humidity

Prefers 50–65% humidity.

Calatheas are more sensitive to dry air than most tropical foliage plants.

If your home feels dry, group with other plants, use a pebble tray, or run a small humidifier.

Tip: A small digital hygrometer can help monitor indoor humidity levels.

🌱 Feeding

• Feed monthly, March through September.

• Use a balanced liquid fertilizer (example: 2-2-2) at half strength.

• Recommended: Espoma Indoor Plant Food (2-2-2)

• Do not feed during cold months.

āœ‚ļø Ongoing Care

Trim yellow or damaged leaves at the base using clean shears.

Rotate periodically for even growth.

Wipe leaves gently to prevent dust buildup.

Keep away from AC vents or sudden temperature swings.

āš ļø Signs of Stress

• Brown edges: Often caused by low humidity

• Leaf curling: Air too dry or inconsistent watering

• Faded patterns: Light may be too low
