☀️ Light

Suitable for:

• Indoor Bright Indirect

• Outdoor Shade

Avoid direct afternoon sun.

🌡 Temperature

Ideal range: 65–85°F.

Avoid sudden temperature changes.

Avoid prolonged exposure below 55°F.

If temperatures drop below 50°F, bring indoors

💦 Humidity

Prefers 40–760% humidity.

Benefits from consistent moderate humidity.

If your home feels dry, group with other plants, use a pebble tray, or run a small humidifier.

Tip: A small digital hygrometer can help monitor indoor humidity levels.

🌱 Feeding

• Feed monthly during active leaf growth using a balanced liquid fertilizer. Pause feeding while not in bloom.

• Use a low-nitrogen fertilizer (example: 1-2-2) at half strength.

• Recommended: Espoma Organic Cactus Plant Food (1-2-2)

• Do not feed during cold months.

✂️ Ongoing Care

After blooming, remove spent flowers and allow the leaves to grow in bright light.

Once the leaves naturally yellow, reduce watering and let the bulb rest in a cool, dark place for 8–12 weeks before starting a new growth cycle.

⚠️ Signs of Stress

Yellowing leaves during active growth → Overwatering or insufficient light

Soft or mushy bulb → Root rot (too much water)

No blooms → Not enough light or skipped dormancy

Leaves cut too early → Bulb didn’t store enough energy
