It is ideal to have a connection with your kokedama.
Lift it…once it’s very lightweight, it needs water!!
Small 2": 5 minutes once a week.
Medium 4": 10 minutes every 2 weeks.
Big 6": 10 minutes every 3 weeks.
I like to be submerged ¾ of my moss ball, in-room temperature drinkable water (filtered, distilled, purified or if you collect from rain occasionally, I'll thrive) Tap water has high chlorine.
While submerging splash or spray with water my leaves.
If outdoor during Summer and Spring please consider once a week
Then take me out and let the water drain for about 20 minutes in an empty container or the sink.
I might need water more often during Summer and Spring or less often during Winter and Fall.
Always lift me!
If a lot of my leaves start dropping or underdeveloped and leggy growth is because I'm in a low light place, please move me towards a brighter spot.
If my leaves are yellowing in mass is due to overwatering, please cut down to watering for one more week.
A black mold coating on the leaves is a sign that there is too much humidity, remove mold with soapy water.
Medium to High Shaded
The more light I receive, the more I will grow, but never expose me to direct sunlight.
Don’t put me in a dark place all day long nor outside in the sun all day long.
Low humidity is best for me, as long as the air is circulating around me I'll be happy.
Talk to me with much love.
Put music. Kazumi Garden has my favorite songs in their free Spotify Plant Playlist.
If below or above, please put me inside. I prefer cooler temperatures.
Do not place me under the A/C vent nor near a TV.
Indoor or Outdoor shaded
Place me indoors with indirect light, the brighter the better or outdoor shaded. I can do well on a balcony or open indoor window.
The plate you use for me can’t be tight covering all the moss ball, my ecosystem needs ventilation.
Once a month.
Please fertilize me once every six months. Kazumi Garden uses
MiracleGro All Purpose Liquid Plant Food concentrate (yellow gallon)
