It is ideal to have a connection with your kokedama. Lift it…once it’s very lightweight,
it needs water!!
Small 4": 5 minutes once a week.
Big 6": 10 minutes every 2 weeks.
Large 10" : 10 min once every 3 weeks.
Please put a timer
I like to be submerged ¾ of my moss ball, in-room temperature drinkable water (filtered, distilled, purified or if you collect from rain occasionally, I'll thrive) Tap water has high chlorine.
While submerging splash or spray with water my leaves.
Then, take me out and let the water drain for 20 minutes in an empty container or the sink. After being drained, put me back on my plate or hanger.
I might need water more often during Summer and Spring or less often during winter and Fall.
Always lift me!.
If the tips of my leaves are drying it might be for many reasons.
First, spray with water my leaves once or twice a week, please cut all dried tips.
Secondly, could be overwatering and could also show that my stem is mushy or underwatering, please lift me to know when I need water.
Lastly, brown tips could be because I am not liking the low light environment, please place me in a better spot.
Medium to High Indirect Light
I am an adaptable plant even with low light but I'll thrive in medium to high indirect light. Also, I could resist sunlight for some hours but not all day long.
Don’t put me in a dark place all day long nor outside in the sun all day long.
I thrive on humidity, but I can tolerate more dryness. If your humidity level is less than 50%, then consider using a humidifier to increase the level to at least 60% or spray my leaves constantly. Another option is to place me on a pebble tray.
Talk to me with much love.
Put music. Kazumi Garden has my favorite songs in their free Spotify Plant Playlist
If below or above, please put me inside.
Do not place me under the A/C vent nor near a TV.
Indoor or Outdoor shaded
Place me indoor with indirect light, the brighter the better or outdoor shaded. I can resist some direct sunlight for a few hours.
The plate you use for me can’t be tight covering all the moss ball, my ecosystem needs ventilation.
Once a month.
Mix in water and then submerge. During the growing season (spring and summer), feed me once a month. During Winter and Fall use once every 2 months.
. If you use too much fertilizer it'll hurt me.
