Pilea
It is ideal to have a connection with your kokedama. Lift it…once it’s very lightweight, it needs water!!

SUBMERGING
Small 4": 5 minutes once a week
Big 6": 10 minutes every 2 weeks
I like to be submerged ¾ of my moss ball, in-room temperature drinkable water (filtered, distilled, purified or if you collect from rain occasionally, I'll thrive) Tap water has high chlorine.
While submerging splash or spray with water my leaves.
If outdoor during Summer and Spring please consider once a week
Then take me out and let the water drain for about 20 minutes in an empty container or the sink.
.
I might need water more often during Summer and Spring or less often during Winter and Fall.
Always lift me!

COMMON PROBLEMS
Once a month.
-
If the humidity is low my leaves might get brown spots, to avoid, mist twice a week or place a pebble tray under the moss ball.
-
If I receive direct sunlight my leaves will dry and turn brown.

LIGHT REQUIREMENT
Medium to High Shaded
The more light I receive, the more I will grow, but never expose me to direct sunlight.
Don’t put me in a dark place all day long nor outside in the sun all day long.

HUMIDITY REQUIREMENTS
60%
I thrive on humidity, but I can tolerate more dryness. If your humidity level is less than 50%, then consider using a humidifier to increase the level to at least 60%.

RECOMMENDATION
Once a month.
-
Name me.
-
Talk to me with much love.
-
Put music. Kazumi Garden has my favorite songs in their free Spotify Plant Playlist

TEMPERATURE
70-90 degrees
If below or above, please put me inside. Do not place me under the A/C vent.

IDEAL PLACE
Inside or Outdoor shaded
Place me Inside with indirect light, the brighter the better or outdoor shaded.
The plate you use for me can’t be tight covering all the moss ball, my ecosystem needs ventilation.

PLANT FOOD
Once a month.
Mix plant food once a month in my water before submerging.
