Desert Rose

SUBMERGING

Big 6": 10 minutes once a month

I like to be submerged ¾ of my moss ball, in-room temperature drinkable water (if you collect from rain occasionally, I'll thrive)

Please put a timer, take me out, and let the water drain for 20 minutes in an empty container or the sink. After being drained, put me back on my plate or hanger.

I might need water more often during summertime or less often during winter.

Always weigh me!.

COMMON PROBLEMS

Some put me in a spot where I am exposed to rainfall. Which can cause my stem or roots to rot.

LIGHT REQUIREMENT

Direct Sunlight

The more light I receive, the more I will grow, preferably direct sunlight.

Don’t put me in a dark place all day long.

HUMIDITY REQUIREMENTS

40%

Average room humidity is fine for me. If you put me outdoor in the summer I can take the heat.

RECOMMENDATION

Move me to a drier spot, but still receive sunlight.

TEMPERATURE

50-95 degrees

If below or above, please put me inside. Do not place me under the A/C vent.

IDEAL PLACE

Inside or Outdoor shaded

Outdoor with good airflow is ideal for me. If inside I can enjoy room temperature.

The plate you use for me can’t be tight covering all the moss ball, my ecosystem needs ventilation.

PLANT FOOD

Once a month.

During the growing season (spring and summer), feed me once a month using 1/4 of liquid fertilizer. in the water while submerging. If you use too much fertilizer it'll hurt me.
